The Black Knights are Angmar's elite cavalry from Carn Dûm who are eager to prove themselves on the battlefield. They are heavily armored and deal heavy damage but are expensive and limited to three battalions maximum. Like Angmar's other heroic unit, the Shadow Guards, they are not affected by Mornamarth's Edict of Carn Dûm.

Abilities Edit

Guardsmen's blades Guardsmen's Blades - With every attack, the Black Knights passively reduce the damage of nearby enemies by 50% for 10 seconds. Activating the ability removes this effect for 30 seconds and reduces the Shadow Guard's armor by 50% but drains health from enemies with every strike and heals all nearby allies. Left click to activate.

Dark favor Level 5: Dark Favor - The Black Knights strive to prove themselves worthy of the favor of Angmar's rulers. Guardmen's Blades now also decreases the damage of enemy heroes by 25% and heals allied heroes for twice as much when activated. (Passive ability)

Black oath Level 10: Black Oath - The Black Knights swear to protect a hero of Angmar with their lives. The chosen hero gains +50% armor for 60 seconds, and all nearby Black Knights deal +100% damage. If the hero does die during this time, all nearby Black Knights also pay with their lives. Left click on a hero of Angmar.
