The Battering Ram is a siege unit that is used to take down gates and buildings. It is one of the most efficient siege units since it takes up very few command points and is cheap in terms of resources. It is a melee siege unit but cannot destroy walls. It will be taken down quickly but can be protected using other troops such as free orcs of any type, whether from Minas Morgul or Dol Guldur.

Battering Assault - When assaulting gates, Battering Ram (Mordor)s disable the gate making it impossible to close/open.

Strategy[]
The Battering Rams are very useful due to how cheap they are and how easily they can take down buildings. However, they are quite slow and cannot retaliate if attacked by troops. They are quite tanky but Hero Killers and overall heavy single target damage dealing units can take them down quickly. They can be used both for harassment and base destruction but can easily be spotted and targeted for destruction.
