Drummer Trolls of Mordor provide friendly troops nearby with leadership and can defend themselves to some extent. They are very useful as unit support (as long as they stay at the edge of the battle) by boosting nearby troops with a 15% increase to attack damage as well as fear resistance. They can also use the ability Roar to cause nearby enemies to flee in terror. They can be quickly brought down by pikemen or archers, so be careful.

Strategy[]
The best strategy with the Drummer Troll is to keep it behind your troops so that it gives them leadership without taking damage. They are quite expensive so keeping them alive is key. They can also cause massive disruption in the enemy formation with their "Roar" ability. If used effectively they can create a hole in the enemy formation which can be used to either push through and hit the back line or to separate enemy forces. They can be a driving force of the Mordor strategy but often require too much micro-managing.
