Gwaihir was descended from Thorondor, the greatest Eagle who ever lived. It was said that he and his brother Landroval aided Thorondor in rescuing Beren and Luthien from Angband. He can be summoned by Lothlorien, Imladris, Gondor, and Arnor using the Eagle spellbook power (he appears with two other eagles), making him the hero available in most factions. He is used mostly for slaying numerous units and dealing damage to fleeing heroes.
Abilities
Screech - Gwaihir screeches, causing nearby enemies to flee in terror.

Strategy
Gwaihir is a flying hero, one of the few, so he therefore has the ability to go over walls and catch up with all types of fleeing units. However, this renders him specifically weak to archers, which can take him down in matter of seconds. His timer is rather short, so he should be used for brusque mass slaying, nothing too long term.
