Recruit the youngest ent of Fangorn Forest, Quickbeam (Bregalad in Sindarin). The rowan-trees in his keeping suffered greatly at the hands of Saruman's Orcs, so he was the first ent to make his mind up at the Entmoot. He sheltered the two hobbits, Merry and Pippin, in his home while the other ents made up their minds at the entmoot. He played a great part in the Ents' resulting attack on Isengard. Like other ents he can throw rocks or deal AOE damage to units. His youth and eagerness allow his normal movement speed to be faster than that of all other ents. He is recruited at level 10 from the Entmoot settlement expansion.
Abilities
Throw Rocks/Close Melee Attack - can switch between melee and ranged attack.
Entmoot - Quickbeam's hastiness encourages other ents to act more quickly. Ents, including Treebeard, will be recruited instantly for a short time.
Carry hobbits: Quickbeam is able to carry hobbits.

Along with Treebeard, Quickbeam is summoned with 5 other Ents. They will fight along side you on the battlefield for a short time.
Abilities
Throw Rocks/ Close Melee Attack - Switch between ranged attacks and close combat attacks.
Carry Hobbits - Quickbeam is able to carry hobbits.
Strategy
Quickbeam and other ents deal AOE damage when throwing rocks or attacking directly. Similarly to other ents, his main use is to destroy enemy buildings, either directly or from range. He can also be used to fight enemy units easily, thanks to his AOE attacks. He is vulnerable to fire, but his advantage is that his hastiness allows him to enter combat or flee very quickly, unlike other ents and Treebeard. Also, if you are wanting to recruit both ent heroes, always recruit Quickbeam first and then use his Entmoot ability; that way Treebeard won't be far behind (make sure you will have enough resources first before activating though).
