The Steelworks is Isengard's unique outpost expansion and the most expensive of the game, but it makes up for its steep price by producing lots of resources at a time and by shooting powerful arrows. It can also research some equipment-improving upgrades.

Function

This structure fires at nearby enemies from its Arrow Towers and periodically produces +180 resources. It can also research the following improvements:

• Hardened Armors - Increases the defense of units that are equipped with Heavy Armor (cost: 1000)
• Hardened Weapons - Increases the damage of units that are equipped with Forged Blades (cost: 1000)
• Hardened Bolts - Increases the damage of units that are equipped with Steel Bolts (cost: 1000)
